So, I’ve been eyeing this Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag for a while now, the large one. It’s just so classy and seems perfect for work. I mean, it’s big enough to fit my small laptop and some documents, which is exactly what I need.
But those prices, ouch! They are a bit too much. I did some digging online to see if I could find it cheaper somewhere else, maybe a used one. I heard that Prada bags are well-made, but they don’t really hold their value that well. So, buying used might be a good idea.
I searched for “Fake Prada bag” and found a lot of discussions about buying second hand. I found some people talking about how their old Prada bags still look almost new. I did find some “Prada look alike bags,” but I’m a bit wary of those. I want the real deal, just not at the full price.
During my search, I also read about something called “Saffiano” leather. It’s like real leather that’s been treated, so it doesn’t get that worn look over time, which is pretty cool. I also learned that full-grain leather can be either chrome-tanned or vegetable-tanned, but the Galleria bag is made of Saffiano leather. Then there’s this brand, Bleu de Chauffe, that makes bags in France from vegetable-tanned leather. They look nice, but I’m really set on the Prada.
I checked out some online stores, but no luck so far. I even looked on these websites that offer free shipping, but nothing there either. It’s a bit of a bummer, but I’m not giving up yet.
I’m going to keep looking. Maybe I’ll hit up some consignment shops or keep an eye out for online listings. Hopefully, I’ll find my dream Prada bag at a price that doesn’t make my wallet cry. Wish me luck!
