This here thing, this high imitation Rolex, you know, the two-tone blue Submariner, well, it’s a thing, alright. Lots of folks want one. They want that look, you see? That Rolex look. But them real ones, they cost a pretty penny, more than I got in my whole life, I reckon. So, they get these fake ones. This Rolex Submariner, it’s popular. I heard someone say the real ones are “rare.” Whatever that means. Just means they ain’t around much and cost a whole heap. A lot more than this fake one, that’s for sure.
Now, this here two-tone Submariner, they call it “Bluesy.” Sounds silly to me. Blue and gold, that’s what it is. My neighbor, she got one, looks just like the real deal. She paid a good bit for it, though, still less than the real one. Said it was a bargain! I don’t know about bargains, but I know it ain’t cheap.
This fake Rolex, it’s got some weight to it. Not as heavy as the real one, I reckon. I heard the real ones are like, 130 of them little gram things. Heard the gold on the real ones, it ain’t much. Just some bits here and there. The middle, the twisty thing, and the circle part around the face. The main thing that makes them real ones cost so much is ’cause not many folks have ’em. They say it is less than 1/5 of it is gold.
Now, how you tell a real one from a fake one? That’s the big question. I asked my neighbor about that. Her son, he knows ’bout these things. He says there are ways, you gotta look close. The hands, he says, the long one on the real watch is short. Doesn’t go over them little lines on the edge. The fake ones, the hand is longer. Goes right over them lines.

My neighbor’s son, he says there’s lots of things to look for. Little things that are different. He says you gotta be armed with the right stuff in your head, then you can tell. He said it is “crucial.” That means real important, I guess. You gotta know this stuff or you’ll be tricked into buying a fake one.
Now, I don’t know much about these watches. But I know this: If you want a real one, you gotta pay a lot. And if you want a fake one that looks real, you still gotta pay a good bit. It ain’t cheap either way. This two-tone Submariner, it’s just a watch. Tells the time, I guess. But for some folks, it’s more than that. It’s a show-off thing. They say the real one is about 40 of them little millimeter things across. That is not very big.

So if you’re lookin’ to get one of them Rolex Submariner watches, you best be careful. You gotta know what you’re lookin’ at. You don’t wanna get tricked. You don’t wanna pay good money for a fake one. I heard they selling the real ones for an average of twenty. Twenty what, I don’t know. But I know it is a lot.
This whole thing, it’s a bit much for me. I just tell the time with my old clock. Don’t need no fancy watch. But if you want one, just be careful. That’s all I gotta say about that. This fake Rolex, it is what it is. A copy of the real thing. Not the same, but close enough for some. This two-tone Submariner quote, well, it depends on if it is real or not. If it is fake, it ain’t worth much. If it is real, well, then it is a whole different story. A whole different price, that is for sure.
