This here bag, they call it the Yves Saint Laurent YSL Envelope Bag, it’s a real fancy one, I tell ya. Lots of folks are going crazy for it, remaking it and such. It’s a classic, they say. But it’s another one of them fancy YSL bags. This one fella, Hedi something, he made that one. It is also a classic style one.
I saw a different bag the other day, reminded me a bit of this Envelope Bag. It was called a “Kira Chevron.” Had that same arrow-like stitching. Tory Burch, that’s the name on it. Not the same as YSL, but kinda similar, you know? Like comparing a store-bought pie to a homemade one. Both are pies, but one’s got that special something. And it can also be a classic style. You know, these fancy bags, they all got their own little quirks.
This YSL Envelope Bag, though, it’s the real deal. It’s a classic, they say. Something that will last. Like them old quilts my mama used to make. Kept you warm for years.
