First things first, I spent a good chunk of time just staring at pictures of the watch. I found a bunch of listings on those fancy watch websites. It’s a pretty penny, with prices soaring over $44,000! Some places even let you trade in your old watch to soften the blow. That is a lot of money.
I dug up all the details I could find about this watch. The case diameter is 39 mm, and it’s about 9.24 mm thick. It’s got this really sleek, polished round case. I tried to get the dimensions down to a T.
Then came the fun part – actually trying to make the thing. I started with the case, trying to replicate that perfectly polished look. Let me tell you, getting that smooth finish was no walk in the park. I went through a few prototypes before I got something I was somewhat happy with.
- Sourcing the materials: This was a challenge in itself. I had to find materials that could mimic the luxurious feel of the original.
